Each week I will post some things that relate to our Christian Living lessons.

Term 3, 2016

Here is the memory verse for week 5 & 6.




Week 2This week are are learning that God created 10 Rules called Commandments. He made these to help our hearts not be hurt. 










Week 1
This week are are learning that God is Holy and Pure. We learnt that holy and pure means God has never made any mistakes or bad choices. He is clean on the inside and is always good. He is perfect.
Then we watched this movie. Did you know that God created the world and people were perfect as well. 




Here is our memory verse for week 1 & 2.





Term 4, 2015

This is our memory Verse for week one. Its Australian sign language but some of the signs are similar to NZ sign language. During Weeks 1 & 2 we learnt that everything was created by God and we need to be resourceful with things that God has given us.



This is the movie we watched this week about God being the source of everything created.



The memory verse for Week 2 was:    “Through Him all things were made: without Him nothing was made that has been made.”  John 1:3
We were fascinated to learn that God created all the languages in the world.  We discovered that originally all the people spoke the same language but then God gave them lots of different languages.

During week 3 &4 we learnt that Joshua and the Israelites had to trust God with everything and so can we.  This is the memory verse for Week 3

Week 4

Here is the story of Joshua, the Israelites and the city Jericho.  Our memory verse was "Be strong, courageous, and firm. Be not fearful, nor in terror. For the Lord your God will go before you. He will not leave you nor forsake you." - Deuteronomy 31:6

During week 5 we learnt that God provides our food. Here are some movies about God providing food for people in the Bible.





During week 6 we learnt that God is our source of protection and safety. Our memory verse is:

 

Here is a true story of a young woman called Easter who learnt that God was the source of her protection and safety.

 

Week 7 

We are still learning how God is the source of our protection.  Check out these amazing Bible stories that show how God was the source of these people's protection.  





Our memory verse is Psalm 91:4
